Town Meeting approved nearly $5 million in CPA funds. The Town drew another $642,523 a year after the ribbon-cutting. On May 12, the Select Board sold the building for $40,000 — and the records that would explain the gap still have not been released.

Plymouth Select Board, Open Meeting Law, and the Simes House

Thirteen months ago, the Attorney General told Plymouth's Select Board to stop violating Open Meeting Law. On May 12, they did it again — and sold a $1.67 million asset for $40,000 on the consent agenda.
